The second-largest auto show held in the hall of Cobo in Detroit to suffer a little compared with the North American International Auto Show in terms of lighting and elegance of the displays, but these compounds are interesting both - if you can appreciate the cars technical previously applied work. 1971 Ford Bronco BajaAnd was one of the finest trucks in the Autorama this one from Bill Stroppe - 100 - prepared Baja Bronco. Shortly after the introduction of the Bronco in 1966, Bill started to modify outside Stroppe road race. And by 1971 Stroppe Broncos won the Baja 500 races in 1000 and helped launch many of the desert race and functions. On January 28, 1971, Ford announced it will offer a limited production version of the Bronco's Stroppe.
The Bronco sport vehicles came from the factory painted livery Stroppe: Blue metallic surfaces, Wimbledon white on global warming, red poppies under greenhouse warming, and matte or semi-gloss black hood. Was then shipped to Long Beach, California, where reduced Stroppe fenders front and rears broke out to clear the Gates Commando tires shortcut.
Other improvements included the dual shocks at each corner, a padded roll bar, rubber wheel, front bumper brackets, trailer hitch, and logos Baja Bronco on the cover of tires and fenders. If ordered, the Stroppe also install Saginaw Power Steering (parts Chevrolet!) Of C4 and automatic - Power Steering and Automatic were not available except together from the factory in '71 and '72.
